Walnut Coffee Cake

From B is for Breakfast--

Walnut Coffee Cake

2 cups flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
½ t. salt
1 cup butter
1 1/4 cups granulatedsugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, butter,
one cup granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla and
sour cream until batter is smooth.
In a separate bowl, combine reserved sugar,
brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts.

Pour half of the batter into a lightly greased 13"x9" baking dish.
Pour half of the sugar mixture over batter.
Pour remaining batter on top of sugar mixture,
then top with the remainder of the sugar mixture.

Place baking dish in a pre-heated
350-degree oven and bake for 30-40 minutes.
